A primary goal for VADETS has been to provide a strong staff development program.  In addition to its annual conference the organization offers driver education teachers the opportunity to take the VADETS Online Driver Education Course for re-certification points at a cost of $45.00 ($145 value). Upon completion of the course teachers will receive 45 hours of continuing education credit.  To register for the class please e-mail vadets@aol.com with your contact information including your school name and daytime phone number.

School systems may ask for special programs that can be used as part of their staff development training.  Below is a list of topics requested by school divisions in the past and VADETS has a team of instructors available to speak on these topics.  Please note that the organization is willing to consider other topics if there is a particular need.
